Key Responsibilities
- Gather customer requirements and conduct solution design/whiteboarding workshops.
- Create a Solution Design Document covering:
- High-level architecture
- OpenShift cluster architecture
- Storage
- Networking
- Security
- Infrastructure prerequisites
- Perform capacity planning, network zoning, storage architecture, and test planning.
- Design and support CI/CD pipelines, automation, containerization, and deployment processes.
- Work with Podman and OpenShift for application containerization and deployment.
- Support CI/CD server operations, including patching, performance tuning, RBAC, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery.
- Design and support ACM and ACS for multi-cluster management, security, policies, and application lifecycle management.
- Support Red Hat Quay image registry, image lifecycle, retention, garbage collection, Skopeo, and API integration.
- Design OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) storage architecture.
- Coordinate with the backup vendor to ensure OpenShift and workloads are properly backed up.
- Validate infrastructure readiness and prerequisites before deployment.
- Prepare the Consulting Engagement Report / Solution Design Document.
- Help teams adopt DevOps and Agile practices.
