About You
: A recovery driver is responsible for the safe and efficient recovery of broken-down or accident-damaged vehicles. They must have excellent driving skills, knowledge of vehicle mechanics, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients in distress. We are looking for experienced recovery drivers to provide top-quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Drive a recovery vehicle to attend to breakdowns and accidents
Assist stranded motorists by towing their vehicles to the nearest garage or destination
Conduct vehicle inspections to assess the extent of damage and determine the best course of action
Ensure the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of vehicles while adhering to traffic rules and regulations
Maintain accurate records of all recovery operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, and services rendered
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to provide timely updates and resolve issues
Perform routine maintenance on recovery vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
Stayup-to-datewith industry trends and best practices to enhance job performance and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to operate and maintain tow trucks and other recovery vehicles
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for securing and transporting vehicles
Physical fitnessand ability to lift heavy objects
Excellentcommunication skillsto interact with clients, law enforcement, and other stakeholders
Availability to workflexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Willingness to work in all weather conditions and hazardous environments
Experience in towing or recovery services preferred, but not required
