Position: Receptionist (Local Only)
General Description:
This role plays an important part in ensuring that any patient who visits the center receives the highest level of service. The position acts as a bridge between the patient and the medical operation team, responsible for managing patient appointments.
A. Administration  Greet and welcome the patient to the center. Register patient information on the system as per the center’s protocol. Verify and update patient information and assist them in completing all necessary forms and entering them onto the system. Check the daily appointment schedule of the assigned dentist and schedule patients’ appointments accordingly. Check notes made by the dentist before making the booking or giving an update to the patient.
Ensure that medical insurance is approved before confirming the appointment with the patient. Call and reschedule those patients who missed their appointment. Fill in cancelled and no-show appointments. Confirm upcoming appointments and provide updates to the assigned dentist. Answer and manage other incoming calls. Maintain and manage patient records up to date.
B. Patient Relation  Ensure that the patient is treated with utmost care as per the general service standards of the center. Monitor the movement of patients at the reception area. Ensure that patients do not leave any items in the reception area (i.e., Emirates , etc.). Ensure that all checked-in patients are sent to the room promptly. Provide updates to patients in case there are changes in their appointment.
Remind patients about the protocol of the center. Manage any patient concerns/issues before escalating to the Senior Receptionist.
C. Compliance  Maintain and update patient information in compliance with the data protection policy of the center. Keep oneself up to date about new changes in policy and procedure in the center.  Job Type:  Full-time
