The job involves a variety of administrative, customer service, and operational duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the club. These are the duties of a receptionist:

– Greeting Members and Guests

Welcome members and visitors: Provide a friendly, professional greeting to members, new clients, and visitors as they enter the facility.
Check-ins: Verify membership or appointments upon arrival.

– Customer Service

Resolve Complaints: Handle member complaints, concerns, or issues, ensuring they are addressed quickly or escalated to management.
Promoting Services: Actively promote membership upgrades, personal training sessions, or retail products.
Assisting with Special Requests: Help with locker rentals, towel services, or any additional needs members might have.
Class and Event Information: Inform guests about class schedules, special events, workshops, and promotions

– Managing Front Desk Operations

Answering Calls: Handle inquiries related to memberships, class schedules, facilities, and pricing.
Responding to Emails: Provide information, answer queries, and resolve issues through email communication.
Handling Cash and Payments: Process membership payments, class bookings, product purchases, and other transactions.
Appointment Scheduling: Book personal training sessions, group classes, or other appointments using scheduling software.

– Membership Management

Registering New Members: Explain membership options, and complete paperwork.
Member Retention: Follow up with members who may have missed classes or have expired memberships.
Updating Records: Keep member details current, including contact information, membership status, and preferences.

– Maintaining Cleanliness and Order

Ensure Cleanliness: Make sure the reception area, lobby, and common areas are clean and organized.
Report Facility Issues: Alert management to any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions in the gym or front desk.

– Product and Retail Management

Selling Merchandise: Manage sales of fitness-related products like water bottles, protein bars, supplements, or apparel.
Inventory Control: Track stock levels and notify management when inventory needs replenishing.

– Administrative Tasks

Data Entry: Keep detailed records of membership accounts, attendance, and financial transactions.
Reporting: Assist management by generating reports on membership trends, front desk activity, or customer feedback.

– Security and Safety

Monitoring Facility Access: Ensure only authorized members or visitors enter the facility.
Enforce Rules: Remind members of gym rules, such as proper equipment usage or safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
