Receiving & Warehouse Supervisor (FMCG / Supermarket)
- Supervise daily receiving and warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Oversee inbound deliveries, verify quantities/quality against purchase orders and invoices
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and segregation of food, grocery, and FMCG products
- Implement and monitor inventory control processes, including FIFO/FEFO and batch/expiry tracking
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely system updates (ERP/WMS)
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Monitor cold chain requirements for perishable items and ensure proper temperature control
- Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and stock accessibility
- Supervise picking, packing, and dispatch activities to support store replenishment
- Coordinate with procurement, store operations, and suppliers for smooth stock flow
- Train, schedule, and manage warehouse and receiving staff performance
- Enforce health & safety policies, including proper equipment use and safe handling practices
- Minimize stock loss, damages, and shrinkage through effective controls
- Prepare and analyze inventory and receiving reports to support planning and decision-making
- Handle returns, damaged goods, and supplier discrepancies in a timely manner
