Major Food stuff trading company in Dubai looking for an Import/ Export Logistics & Sales coordinator who will support the Import and Export Sales team in the follow up and support of the sales destined to export markets as well as following up on the import programs to/from UAE in order to meet the company goals.
Required Skills
Coordinate and manage all aspects of import/ export logistics, including scheduling, documentation, and customs compliance.
Prepare shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, etc. ensuring accuracy and compliance with Dubai Chamber, Dubai Municipality and international trade regulations.
Collaborate with Store and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate preparation of export orders, including stock arrangement, packing, and labelling of goods.
Coordinate with freight forwarders to arrange transportation of goods, negotiate rates, and ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Resolve any shipping-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, by coordinating with relevant parties and implementing corrective actions.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize export logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and experience in Sales Coordination & familiarity in Export Sales Management.
Proven experience working in export logistics or a similar role, preferably in an international business environment.
Proficiency in using shipping software, such as ERP systems such as Focus, SAP etc
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Incoterms and import/export compliance regulations is highly desirable.
Certification or training in logistics, supply chain management, or related areas is a plus.
Fluency in written and spoken English, with additional language skills being advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
