We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Specialist with a strong microbiology background to join our team at Izil Beauty. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in quality control within the cosmetics industry or a related field, with hands-on experience in microbiology and preservative challenge testing. As a QC Specialist, you will ensure the quality and safety of our cosmetic products through microbiological testing, including preservative efficacy studies, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine microbiological testing on raw materials, stability samples, NPD samples and finished goods to ensure product safety and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct preservative challenge testing (PCT) to evaluate the effectiveness of preservatives and antimicrobial systems in cosmetics formulations.
Conduct stability and shelf-life testing to ensure product efficacy and safety.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of microbiological tests, including test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with GMP, Halal and Cosmos and other regulatory requirements for cosmetic microbiological testing.
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of microbiological and laboratory testing equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized microbiology lab environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other departments, R&D, production, and regulatory affairs, to resolve any microbiological or quality issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in microbiological testing, preferably within the cosmetics, personal care, or pharmaceutical industries.
Hands-on experience with preservative challenge testing (PCT) and antimicrobial efficacy testing.
Strong knowledge of microbiological testing procedures, including sterility testing, microbial limits testing, and preservative efficacy testing.
Familiarity with regulatory guidelines, GMP, and product safety requirements for cosmetic products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
