DESCRIPTION
Real Estate Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
The Real Estate Manager will support the Middle East Real Estate team – part of Amazon’s Africa Middle East & Turkey Operations Real Estate organization. The Amazon AMET Real Estate team is responsible for the timely completion of property transactions including acquisitions, renewals, expansions, terminations, and reconfiguration of existing warehouse space in the AMET Region.
The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple work streams and possesses in-depth knowledge of planning law and warehousing development.
– Responsible for the growth and development of the operational network through sourcing new properties throughout AMET.
– Manage negotiations with landlords, agents, and lawyers.
– In-depth knowledge of planning law, development projects, and site assembly.
– Report and deliver results to the senior leadership team.
– Oversee full due diligence processes.
– Regional focus with an emphasis on KSA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience with increasing responsibility in real estate or a related field.
– Bachelor’s Degree.
– Experience managing large-scale, project-driven workloads with reporting to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– MBA from a reputable university.
– Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
– Strong problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform business decisions.
– Ability to build successful partnerships with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and develop roadmaps.
– Demonstrated leadership skills, especially in challenging situations, with an ability to motivate and focus teams.
– Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
– Strong negotiation skills.
– Experience dealing with real estate in Egypt.
