Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator to manage and streamline our procurement and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in logistics and purchasing, strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, and excellent customer service and coordination skills. Proficiency in basic to moderate Chinese language is preferred to support communication with suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Management:
Oversee and coordinate the transportation, storage, and delivery of goods to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs to ensure compliance with regulations.
Purchasing Coordination:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and purchase order management.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
Evaluate supplier quotes and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze logistics and purchasing data for insights and optimization.
Prepare and present reports on inventory, procurement performance, and logistics metrics.
Customer Service and Coordination:
Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
Provide excellent customer service to address inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align logistics and purchasing activities with business goals.
Language Support:
Communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking suppliers and customers using basic to moderate Chinese language skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in logistics and purchasing roles.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
Excellent customer service and coordination abilities.
Basic to moderate proficiency in the Chinese language is preferred.
