NEUROHAB at Dr Safeenas Wellness World is an integrated Neuro Ortho Pediatric Rehabilitation center in Dubai. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our patients, and we’re seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team and contribute to our comprehensive care approach.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
● Psychological Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose and understand psychological conditions.
● Psychotherapy: Provide individual and group therapy to address various psychological issues.
● Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and intervention during psychological emergencies.
● Consultation: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address the psychological needs of patients.
● Patient Education: Educate patients and families about mental health and effective coping strategies.
● Pain Management: Address the psychological aspects of chronic pain.
● Stress Management: Teach relaxation techniques and strategies for managing stress.
● Family Therapy: Provide support and guidance to families to improve overall family dynamics.
● Neuropsychological Assessment: Evaluate cognitive abilities and functioning to guide treatment plans.
Qualifications and Educational Background:
● Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Psychology: A mandatory qualification.
● Registration with the Relevant Psychology Council
● DHA License: Preference will be given to candidates with a DHA license.
● Clinical Experience: Proven experience in a psychological or clinical setting.
● Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with patients.
● Ethical Conduct: Adherence to professional ethical standards and practices.
● Clinical Psychology: Expertise in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders.
● Counseling Psychology: Experience in providing therapy and counseling to individuals and
families.
● Health Psychology: Understanding of the psychological aspects of physical health and illness.
● Neuropsychology: Skills in assessing and treating cognitive impairments.
● Pediatric Psychology: Specialization in the mental health of children and adolescents.
