Job Summary:
The Compressed Wood Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machines used in manufacturing compressed wood pallets, blocks, and related products. The role involves monitoring production processes, ensuring product quality, and performing routine maintenance to maximize efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:1. Machine Operation:
– Set up, operate, and monitor compressed wood molding machines.
– Adjust machine settings for different product specifications.
– Ensure continuous production with minimal downtime.
2. Quality Control:
– Inspect finished products for defects and compliance with quality standards.
– Measure and test materials to maintain product consistency.
– Report any quality issues to supervisors.
3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
– Perform regular machine cleaning and minor maintenance.
– Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues.
– Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and servicing.
4. Material Handling:
– Load raw materials (wood fiber, resins, etc.) into machines.
– Monitor material levels and replenish supplies as needed.
– Safely move finished products to storage or shipping areas.
5. Safety & Compliance:
– Follow safety protocols and wear required protective equipment.
– Ensure machines are operated according to company safety guidelines.
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Prior experience in machine operation or manufacturing (preferred).
– Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
– Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
– Understanding of safety procedures in an industrial setting.
Preferred Skills:
– Experience in the wood manufacturing industry.
– Familiarity with CNC or automated machine controls.
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
