Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager who is ACCA or CA qualified with a proven track record in the Big 4 accounting environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial strategies within a dynamic business setting. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, while working closely with senior management to support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
Provide detailed analysis of financial performance, highlighting variances, trends, and areas for improvement.
Support the preparation of consolidated financial reports for the business group.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Prepare detailed financial forecasts and projections, advising senior management on potential risks and opportunities.
Audit & Compliance:
Manage the relationship with internal and external auditors, ensuring audits are completed on time and with minimal issues.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and international accounting standards.
Assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings, ensuring compliance with corporate tax regulations.
Internal Controls & Risk Management:
Evaluate and strengthen the internal control environment to mitigate risks and ensure financial integrity.
Conduct regular reviews of financial processes to ensure they align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Business Partnering:
Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Assist in evaluating investment opportunities, business cases, and potential cost-saving initiatives.
Develop financial models to support business growth and expansion strategies.
Team Leadership & Development:
Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative, results-oriented team culture focused on excellence and efficiency.
Big 4 Experience Application:
Apply the expertise gained in a Big 4 environment to improve business processes, systems, and controls.
Leverage experience in auditing, advisory, and consulting to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications:
ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Ideally 4-6 years of experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm (e.g., audit, tax, advisory) or with clients in similar industries.
Skills & Experience:
Strong technical knowledge of financial accounting, IFRS/GAAP, taxation, and corporate finance.
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel) and ERP systems.
Experience managing audits and liaising with auditors.
