Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) Jobs in Doha at Qatar Care
We are looking for a skilled and licensed Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations and ensuring high-quality radiographic images to support physician diagnosis and patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a variety of radiographic examinations including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and related imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Review and evaluate radiographic images for technical quality before submission to the radiologist.
- Follow radiation protection and safety guidelines to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure proper cleanliness and maintenance of the radiology department and equipment.
- Respond to emergency imaging requests as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology or Medical Imaging.
- Valid and current license as a Radiologic Technologist from Qatar.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center.
- Proficiency in operating standard radiologic equipment (X-ray, fluoroscopy, etc.). Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
