Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Radiographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including general X-ray examinations.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring proper positioning.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure radiation protection measures are implemented in accordance with DOH standards.
- Verify patient identity and examination requests before imaging.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control policies.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with ethical and professional standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and mandatory training.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Medical Imaging/Radiography from an accredited institution.
Preferably Female Arabic Speaker.
