Radio Service Technician Jobs in Sharjah at LAMBDA ELECTRONICS
Lambda Electronics is looking for an experienced Radio Service Technician.
Main Responsibilities:
- Repair, test, configure Private Mobile Radio systems including handheld radios, mobile radios, basestations and repeaters.
- Repairs both on unit, PCB and component/SMD level.
- Assist with repair and installation jobs in the field.
- Maintain product and customer records regarding repairs.
Required work experience:
- 5-10 years experience in PMR and 2-way Radio system workbench and field repairing.
- Ideally 5 years or more experience with ICOM and Kenwood radio products.
- Experience in configuring and testing single- and multi-site trunked radio systems.
- Candidates without PMR experience do not need to apply.
Essential skills:
- Sound knowledge of RF technology (Transceivers, Transmitters, Receivers, Antennas, Combiners, Filters, Couplers etc.)
- Sound knowledge of RF propagation (VHF, UHF, HF)
- Sound knowledge of IP and VoIP/RoIP Networking.
- Sound knowledge of RF diagnostic measurement equipment and troubleshooting systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to deal with customers.
- It is a must to have a valid UAE driving license.
Education:
- Minimum a Bachelor Degree in electronic engineering.
- Specialization in radio and RF engineering.
