Quantity Surveyor (QS) Jobs in Dubai at CONVRGNT VALUE ENGINEERING LLC
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring effective financial control throughout construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates from drawings and specifications
- Assist in tender preparation, analysis, and evaluation
- Monitor project budgets and track variations and change orders
- Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams
- Review subcontractor quotations, invoices, and payment claims
- Ensure cost control, value engineering, and cost optimization throughout projects
- Maintain proper documentation of contracts, BOQs, and financial records
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in construction projects (UAE/GCC preferred)
- Strong knowledge of contracts, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience in PlanSwift and other estimation software
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
