Job Description
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and commercial documentation for façade projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining commercial and contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Assist in preparing quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and budget performance.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
- Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations, invoices, and payment certificates.
- Maintain accurate project cost records and commercial reports.
- Support contract administration and documentation.
- Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the façade industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity take-off software.
- Good understanding of BOQ preparation, estimation, and contract documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates currently in the UAE and available to join immediately will be preferred.
