We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our growing team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in building contracting companies.
- Candidates must currently be residing in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, BOQs, cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control.
- Experience with subcontractor evaluations, payment certificates, variations, and claims.
- Good understanding of construction contracts, preferably FIDIC.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software such as CostX, PlanSwift, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Estimate project costs and prepare tender pricing.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare and evaluate subcontractor payments and variations.
- Monitor project costs and prepare regular cost reports.
- Prepare and negotiate claims and variation orders.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and finance teams.
- Ensure commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
