Quantity Surveyor – MEP

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute professional with 10+ years of experience managing the cost and commercial aspects of major construction projects, with a strong background in hospitality and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Manage project budgets and monitor MEP costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and manage procurement processes.
• Administer contracts, variations, progress valuations, and final accounts.
• Prepare regular commercial reports and cost forecasts.
• Identify commercial risks and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Support successful project delivery while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor.
• Proven experience delivering hospitality (hotels/resorts) and mixed-use construction projects.
• Strong expertise in MEP quantity take-offs, cost planning, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying/estimating software (CostX, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
