Job Description
Liar Fire System is seeking a detailed-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing project costs and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the lifecycle of our fire safety projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for fire safety projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost analysis reports to assist in project decision-making.
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase, ensuring adherence to budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to evaluate and negotiate contracts and change orders.
- Maintain detailed records of expenditures, variations, and project financial performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in quantity surveying or cost engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly wage: 50 -* 100 QAR* (commensurate with experience).
