We are seeking a Temporary Infrastructure Quantity Surveyor Coordinator to join a major international sporting event in Saudi Arabia.

Location: Riyadh (Only candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia will be considered)
Contract Duration: August 2026 – March 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation and consolidation of cost plans, budgets, estimates, and cash flow forecasts for temporary infrastructure packages.
- Coordinate the development and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), pricing schedules, cost breakdowns, and rate analyses with the commercial and technical teams.
- Liaise with engineering, design, procurement, and project teams to confirm quantities, specifications, scope, and commercial assumptions.
- Support market benchmarking activities using supplier quotations, historical project data, and current market rates.
- Monitor cost risks, budget pressures, and value engineering opportunities, escalating issues where required.
- Maintain and update cost databases, standard rates, and commercial records for temporary infrastructure works.
- Support the commercial evaluation process by coordinating bidder submissions, ensuring pricing completeness and commercial compliance.
- Coordinate contractor commercial clarification meetings and maintain records of discussions and agreed actions.
- Coordinate evaluations of procurement strategies, including purchase, rental, reuse, and supply-and-install models.
- Monitor advance payments, retention, provisional sums, deductions, and payment status.
- Maintain variation registers, including approval status, financial values, and forecast impacts.
- Ensure approved variations are reflected in project budgets, forecasts, and contract records.
- Other tasks related to the role as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or Commercial Management.
- Experience in major events, temporary infrastructure, construction, venues, or complex multidisciplinary projects is preferred.
- Strong experience with BOQs, cost estimation, tender evaluation, valuations, variations, forecasting, and final accounts.
- Knowledge of FIDIC or other internationally recognized contract forms.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.
- Experience with ERP, quantity surveying, cost management, or contract management systems is preferred.
- Understanding of Power, Overlay, Dressing & Signage, or similar infrastructure packages is an advantage.
- MRICS, RICS-accredited qualifications, PMP, FIDIC, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
