Job Description – Quantity Surveyor
Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: UAE
Salary: AED 6,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, contract administration, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and cost estimates.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and assist in procurement activities.
- Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts.
- Verify contractor and supplier invoices.
- Monitor project variations and prepare variation claims.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in UAE construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software.
- Good understanding of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
