We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction supervision team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all post-contract commercial and financial management activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring cost control, managing valuations, administering contracts, and mitigating financial risk throughout the project lifecycle . The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the project management team, the client, and contractors to deliver a world-class development on time and within budget.

Core Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Experaince 5 of which in supervision projects
  • Experience in High-Rise (Tower) projects.
  • Recent and substantial experience in the luxury hotel sector.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Only candidates within the Kingdom will be considered.


Key Responsibilities

:Commercial & Cost Managemen

  • tOversee all post-contract quantity surveying duties, including cost control, cost forecasting, and financial reporting
  • .Scrutinize and verify contractors’ interim payment applications and progress claims
  • .Conduct on-site measurements and valuations of work completed to support payment certifications
  • .Prepare detailed cost reports, commercial summaries, and cash flow projections for senior management and the client
  • .Manage the change control process, evaluating and negotiating variations, claims, and compensation events in accordance with the contract
  • .Prepare and conclude final accounts, ensuring accurate project close-out documentation
  • .Review and interpret contract documents, bills of quantities, and project specifications to ensure compliance

.Contract Administration & Risk Managemen

  • tAdminister contracts (likely FIDIC-based), ensuring procedural compliance and accurate handling of notices and claims
  • .Identify, evaluate, and manage potential risks to the project’s cost and schedule
  • .Assist in dispute resolution and prepare recommendations for client approval on contractual and financial matters
  • .Prepare and submit claims for additional payments or extensions of time as required
  • .Maintain comprehensive records of all commercial correspondence, site instructions, and variation orders

.Stakeholder & Team Collaboratio

  • nLiaise effectively with the Project Manager, Resident Engineer, client representatives, and contractors on all commercial and contractual issues
  • .Foster effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders to support smooth project delivery
  • .Provide cost-related inputs for progress reports and attend progress and commercial meetings

.4. Qualifications & Experienc

  • eEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • .Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record on large-scale construction supervision projects . Experience on luxury residential or hospitality projects is highly desirable. Good experience in high rise buildings
  • .Professional Certification: Membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent is highly preferable
  • .Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contracts. Expert understanding of FIDIC contracts and standard forms of contract is essentia
