QUANTITY SURVEYOR MALE WITH ROAD & INFRASTRUCTURE WORK EXPERIENCE
– Holding Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Road & Infrastructure work mainly in UAE.
Role – Quantity Surveyor
The job is project based in the Northern Emirates’ sites (Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah). The Quantity Surveyor will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for the below tasks.
* Analyze project specifications, drawings and be able to prepare a BOQ
* Conduct on-site quantity take-offs
* Handle variations, change orders, and claims.
* Monitor project progress and prepare the material logs and daily reports.
* Prepare the Requests for Inspection (RFI) and follow-up for the approval.
* Maintain proper records of RFIs, variations, and cost-related communications.
* Certify sub-contractors and supplier’s valuations.
* Measure completed works and prepare interim payments.
* Prepare final payment and project handover documents.
* Any other task as assigned.
Required Competencies
* 4+ years of experience in roads & infrastructure.
* Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
* Should be available to join within 30 days.
* Ability to work in fast paced / high pressure situation
* Excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC)
* Proficiency in software like MS Excel and AutoCAD.
Salary:
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
