Quantity Surveyor Jobs in Doha at Qatar High Speed Group
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects as required.
· Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
· Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within approved budgets.
· Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations in coordination with the Procurement Department.
· Measure and value work completed on site for progress payments and final accounts.
· Prepare interim payment applications, variations, and claims in coordination with the Technical Department.
· Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
· Assist in contract administration and commercial management of projects.
· Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients regarding commercial matters.
· Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, and contractual documentation.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
· Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the State of Qatar.
· Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, estimation, cost control, and contract administration.
· Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying/estimation software.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Experience in construction, infrastructure, or government projects in Qatar.
· Basic knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local construction regulations.
· Familiarity with Qatar market rates, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
Pay: Up to QAR5,000.00 per month
