This ambitious and fast-growing trading firm with roots in market making, is expanding its trading desk and looking to hire two additional traders. The firm applies cutting-edge technology to capital markets, operating across UAE and international markets, and is building a more inclusive, dynamic financial ecosystem in the region.
The Opportunity
You'll join a growing trading team responsible for executing and managing trades across a range of financial instruments – equities, bonds, commodities, and derivatives – with a focus on maximising profitability while managing risk.
The firm is seeking to hire a senior trader who can lead and mentor, as well as a less experienced trader with the right aptitude and potential, specifically to support trading execution.
What You'll Do
- Execute trades across UAE and international markets, providing liquidity and maintaining orderly markets
- Monitor order flow and execute efficiently while managing risk
- Analyse financial instruments fundamentally and technically to identify trading opportunities
- Collaborate with the trading team and quant developers on trading strategies
- (Senior hires) Mentor junior traders and support their professional growth
- Ensure full compliance with UAE financial regulations, exchange rules, and company policies
Who We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in execution, market making, or quantitative trading environments. Exposure to algorithmic or systematic trading is beneficial but not essential — we're equally open to candidates who demonstrate strong analytical ability and a genuine interest in developing within a trading team.
- Experience in financial markets with a focus on equities — senior candidates will typically have 7+ years, but we welcome applications from those earlier in their careers with the right potential
- Sell-side or buy-side execution experience preferred; familiarity with institutional order types a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Refinitiv etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments
