Quality Officer Jobs in Dubai at Arab Center for Engineering Studies
Supports the Quality Manager and Senior Quality Officer in the implementation and maintenance of ACES Quality System compliant with ISO 9001and ISO/IEC 17025 Standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Under the authorization of Quality Manager, performs technical internal audits in accordance with the approved Internal Quality System Audit Plan.
· Responsible for the implementation of the Internal Quality Control (IQC) activities as per the approved IQC Plan. Distributes IQC samples to departments, collects the results and do evaluation of their compliance to the Acceptance Limits. Submits the records to the Senior Quality Officer for further filing and analysis as required.
· Coordinates with the departments on the of the test and measuring equipment inventory database.
· Ensures the implementation of the internal and external calibrations program:
- Performs/coordinates with other authorised staff the internal calibrations/checks.
- Coordinates the external calibrations with approved external providers and related departments.
- Maintains all internal and external calibration records and updates the calibration status in the Equipment Database.
· Assists the Senior Quality Officer in the coordination and the implementation of departments training and seminars plans, and on the staff authorization for accredited activities. Maintains authorization matrices of all departments.
Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Quality Manager.
Education and Related Work Experience
Bachelor Degree in Science Related Disciplines.
Certified Internal Auditor ISO17025/ ISO9001, ISO17025 is preferred.
0-2 years of experience with first-hand experience of ISO 9001 Standard.
