Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the QEHS management systems and maintain ISO certification
- Plan and conduct project reviews, participate in status meetings, and ensure the implementation of improvement and risk measures
- Supplier qualification for critical components
- Support audits affecting the project and ensure implementation of audit corrective measure
- Tracking, analyzing, and performing Root Cause analysis on‑site NCRs
- Communicate lessons learned, and best practices from previous projects.
- Check and/or perform Customer satisfaction feedback, analyze the results and share the feedback
- Plan and carry out internal audits based on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 to ensure compliance with management system and project specifications
- Conduct QEHS Management Review meeting for the business unit level
- Provide support to the site team for raising, managing and closing out Non‑Conformances in a timely manner
- Act as the point of contact for the customer. The QEHS manager will represent QEHS during meetings and site inspections.
- Ensure that the PM @ Siemens processes, rules, and regulations are being followed
- Implementation of EHS Policy, guidelines, procedures & compliance with legal requirements to establish a culture of health and safety.
- Lead EHS core team meetings in identifying aspects & hazards at the workplace/facilities and establishing control measures and guiding & training personnel in implementing them.
- Identify training needs, plan, and organize training programs on EHS at different levels and Conduct training and presentations for health and safety topics and accident prevention.
- Contribute to internal and external EHS audits and take corrective/preventive actions promptly.
- Identify near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe conditions and ensure corrective/preventive actions.
- Incident/Accident communication (escalation), investigation, analysis & recommendation of corrective & preventive actions to BU EHS Manager.
- Ensure the use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) as required based on the nature of work and ensure the availability of all safety gadgets in related sites.
- Analyses and monitors adherence to EHS standards and prepares regular EHS reporting.
- Coordination with internal & external partners on EHS topics.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a related field and site‑related experience from relevant business.
- Required educational qualification:
Degree in technical education and/or EHS‑related/relevant fields. - Expert level knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental management), ISO 50001 (Energy management), ISO 45001 (Occupational health and safety management), ISO 9001 (Quality management), management system and implementing/managing management system elements.
- Experience in Project Management processes.
- Proven experience in working with management systems.
- A Level 2 (Professional) certificate in the field of Occupational Safety and Health is an advantage.
