QUALITY CONTROL (QA/QC) ENGINEER Jobs in Doha at Qatar High Speed Group
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct inspections of construction activities, materials, and completed works to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
· Monitor site activities and verify that work is executed according to approved drawings and project requirements.
· Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
· Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
· Review material submittals, method statements, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
· Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
· Monitor testing activities and verify compliance with project quality requirements.
· Ensure adherence to company quality management systems and project quality plans.
· Participate in site audits and quality meetings.
· Assist in project handover documentation and final quality inspections.
· Develop, update, and finalize Method Statements for assigned construction packages, ensuring a logical, safe, and efficient step-by-step execution plan.
· Collaborate with QA/QC and HSE departments to ensure integration of inspection hold points, material specifications, and hazard controls within construction methodologies.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Quality Control within the construction industry in the State of Qatar.
· Strong knowledge of construction standards, quality procedures, and inspection processes.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
· Experience in preparing quality reports, inspection requests, and quality documentation.
· Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management/documentation systems.
· Experience in building, infrastructure, or government projects in Qatar.
· Familiarity with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
· ISO 9001 Quality Management System knowledge will be an advantage.
Pay: QAR4,000.00 – QAR4,500.00 per month
