Quality Assurance Specialist (Installations) Jobs in Doha at Inspire Management Training Center
The Quality Assurance Specialist – Installations is responsible for ensuring that all installation activities across projects are executed in compliance with approved standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on inspection, quality control, documentation, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality delivery of installation works.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of installation works (electrical, mechanical, MEP, or utility systems depending on project scope).
- Ensure all installation activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures for site installations.
- Perform site audits and inspections to identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor work to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Review material submittals, installation methods, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
- Maintain and manage quality documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure proper testing and commissioning procedures are followed and verified.
- Track and close non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO or company quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for installation processes and standards.
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality requirements and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Management or related discipline
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, and certification in electrical installation inspection and testing
- Minimum 13 years of experience in quality assurance for electrical installation
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection methods, and standards.
- Familiarity with installation works in construction, MEP, utilities, or industrial projects.
- Experience with ITPs, NCRs, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills with site and engineering teams.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
