Job Description
The QA Manager ensures that quality assurance processes are aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. They lead the development and execution of QA strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The role also involves managing testing activities, overseeing compliance with standards, and ensuring that products or services meet customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and Implement QA Strategies: Create and execute quality assurance plans that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
Lead QA Teams: Manage, train, and mentor QA team members to ensure high performance and collaboration.
Testing and Auditing: Oversee manual and automated testing processes, including functional, performance, and security testing, to ensure product reliability.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current QA processes and implement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or TQM to optimize operations.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GDPR) and maintain detailed documentation of audits, tests, and corrective actions.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and external vendors to maintain quality across all touchpoints.
Customer Focus: Ensure that deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations in terms of usability, performance, and reliability.
Reporting and Communication: Generate reports on QA metrics, present findings to senior management, and provide actionable recommendations.
Manage Vendor Quality: Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure their services meet organizational quality standards.
Train and Develop Teams: Conduct training sessions to enhance team capabilities in QA tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Skills
Essential Skills
Deep knowledge of quality management frameworks such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and TQM.
Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Appium).
Strong analytical skills with expertise in root cause analysis and process optimization.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
Experience in working within Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments.
Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Expertise in testing methodologies such as functional, performance, and security testing.
Desirable Skills
Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, or ISTQB.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Knowledge of UX principles and their impact on quality.
Advanced skills in reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED22,000.00 per month
