Position Overview
Join Al Dana Switchgear as a Transformer QA Manager / Engineer in Doha, Qatar. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead quality assurance and transformer testing operations within our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform routine, type, and special transformer tests.
- Conduct Temperature Rise Tests and Acoustic Tests.
- Establish and optimize transformer testing stations.
- Select, maintain, and calibrate testing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with IEC standards and customer specifications.
- Lead quality inspections and factory acceptance tests (FAT).
- Prepare technical reports and quality documentation.
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in transformer testing and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of IEC 60076 standards.
- Experience with transformer testing facilities and FAT procedures.
Compensation
QAR 13,000 – 15,000 per month.
