Job purpose
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for SAAMS Quality System, developing manuals/procedures. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible also for effective liaison between the RSAF and SAAMS as CST (Customer Support Team) designee on all matters affecting the maintenance organisation. The Quality Assurance Manager shall carry out the duties in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition MOE current revision, Customer policies, Quality Safety policies and procedures.
Core Responsibility Areas
- To advice and support Customer during the Maintenance activities of the A330 MRTT Fleet, through constant monitoring and surveillance in accordance with RSAF procedures and international aviation standards acting as a liaison between Customer and SAAMS. Also to ensure the integrity of the Quality System with regards to official regulations / requirements / authorities / airworthiness standards (SAMI-Airbus, EASA, RSAF, FAA, GACA, AS 9110 etc.)
- Ensure the integrity of the Quality System with regard to official regulations / requirements / authorities / airworthiness standards (Part 145, RSAF, GACA, etc.)
- Support in creation, development, review and implementation of the requirements needed for SAAMS to achieved Aerospace Standard AS 9110 certification.
- Support internal investigations for event/incident reported.
- Support the internal and external audits in accordance with the yearly audit Plan established and to manage the related corrective actions.
- Perform physical checks, spot check, to ensure the compliance with the QMS.
- Advise, Inspect, and monitor the work of the technicians carrying out maintenance activities.
- Support the control and follow-up of discrepancies and corrective actions of the Maintenance activities.
- Control the MRO Subcontractors.
- Support the MRO processes and procedures develop and improvement, including the MOE, CAME and internal procedures.
- Provide support to Head of Quality and Safety in maintaining department KPIs.
- Act as part of Quality CST with RSAF authorities.

Key Performance Indicators
- University/college diploma (preferably in the Aeronautical or quality system field);
- Knowledge in aircraft maintenance, inspection and techniques and in Aircraft Systems (Airframe, Avionics, Hydraulic, Mechanic, Electric, Aerodynamics, and electronic theory that applies to fixed wing aircraft, etc.).
- Good command of English language, read, speak and write English professionally
- Deep knowledge of Quality Assurance of Aeronautical standards, including auditor training.
- Root Cause Analysis Training.
- ISO / AS9110 Awareness Course. EN/AS 9100, Part 65/66, Part 145 and Part M/CAMO and an appreciation of Part 21 within relevant maintenance organizations.
- Knowledge on the aviation regulations such as EASA, FAA or GACA.
- EASA Part 145 / M / CAMO Familiarization/Awareness Course.
- Sufficient knowledge of organization procedures (e.g. MOE, CAME, Procedures, etc.)
- Mandatory regulatory courses (e.g. Human Factor, Hazmat, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, SUP, ESDS, etc.)
- Aircraft Type Familiarization Course.
- Training and Experience in auditing and/or the application of Safety Management Systems including investigations and root cause analysis, promoting a positive safety culture.
- Knowledge and experience in safety, regulatory compliance and quality assurance, involving aircraft base and line maintenance activities. Safety Management System Awareness Course
- Knowledge and Proficiency in using Technical Publications related to work responsibilities
