Job Description:
Acube Industries is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance/Control Inspector who will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of Acube Industries LLC’s Joinery & Woodwork Division. The role involves inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring that all furniture, fittings, and woodwork products meet the company’s quality standards and client specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, in-depth knowledge of joinery and woodworking, and adherence to stringent quality protocols.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Develop and maintain detailed quality control procedures and documentation for joinery and woodwork products.
Approve or reject materials and finished products based on established quality criteria.
Identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in production processes and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Conduct regular visits to project sites to inspect the installation and quality of joinery works, such as wooden doors, cabinetry, and other wood-based components and ensures it complies with the project specification and drawings.
Review and approve factory / on-site mock-ups for joinery items, ensuring they meet client and consultant expectations before mass production.
Provide feedback and training to production teams on quality standards and best practices.
Assist in investigating customer complaints related to product quality and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and innovations to ensure Acube Industries LLC’s products remain competitive and high-quality.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in joinery, woodworking, or furniture manufacturing.
Strong understanding of wood materials, joinery techniques, and production processes.
Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures specific to the joinery industry.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for training and feedback purposes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
Diploma or certification in woodworking, quality management, or a related field is preferred.
