Job Summary
As an Automation QA Engineer at PureCS, you will design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements, create test plans, and implement automation frameworks that enhance efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening our engineering standards and product quality.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Robot Framework, and Cypress
• Ability to develop automation frameworks from scratch
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Experience with performance testing tools, including JMeter, LoadRunner
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure
• Experience in database testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks
• Collaborate with product and development teams to translate requirements into test plans
• Define and implement automation testing strategy and best practices
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies
• Conduct performance testing and analyse results
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to automation standards
• Maintain documentation for test frameworks and automation suites
• Generate test reports and quality metrics
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on quality goals
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certification in software testing, including ISTQB
Experience: 4-6 years of experience in automation with a strong focus on test automation
