QHSE Officer Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE/Dubai at Sundus

We are seeking a QHSE Officer to implement, monitor, and continuously improve the Company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Management System. The role ensures compliance with ADNOC Codes of Practice, client HSE requirements, and company policies across yard and project site operations based in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in ADNOC projects, with proven knowledge of ADNOC Codes of Practice, HSE procedures, PTW systems, and client HSE requirements.
  • Previous successful completion of ADNOC HSE Interview (documentary proof required) and valid National Guard Security Pass for ADNOC site access.
  • Experience supporting site operations, HSE audits, incident management, and safety compliance activities.
  • Strong communication, reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Experience in major EPC or drilling projects is preferred.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.
  • NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory), IOSH Managing Safely, ADNOC-approved HSE training/certifications (as applicable), First Aid Certificate, and Fire Fighting Certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve QHSE policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with ADNOC Codes of Practice, HSE requirements, client standards, and company policies.
  • Provide proactive HSE support and supervision across yard and project site operations, including regular inspections, workplace observations, hazard identification, risk assessments, and implementation of control measures.
  • Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) compliance and promote adherence to safe work practices.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain Risk Assessments (RA), Method Statements (MS), and Job Safety Analyses (JSA), ensuring effective risk mitigation measures are implemented.
  • Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare CAPA reports and monitor corrective action close-out.
  • Support internal and external HSE audits and maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with operations teams, clients, and external stakeholders on all QHSE-related matters to ensure effective communication and compliance.
