QHSE Manager – Transport/Logistics & Heavy Equipment Operations Jobs in Dubai at Brightway photocopier equipment
We are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to lead and manage the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management system. The ideal candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a strong safety culture across all operations, particularly within transport, heavy equipment, and site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, objectives, and management systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws, environmental regulations, ISO standards, and client-specific requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), environmental impact assessments, and identify operational hazards related to transport, loading/unloading, terminals, equipment, and worksites.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental or occupational health issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Inspect and certify vehicles and equipment before daily operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Plan and deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, refresher training, first aid, driver/operator training, and other awareness programs.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for road accidents, fires, chemical/oil spills, and other emergencies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of vehicles, tanks, cranes, trailers, AWPs, equipment, and worksites, including customer and certification audits.
- Manage customer complaints related to quality and safety, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate QHSE documentation, records, reports, and compliance registers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, environmental, and occupational health performance.
- Promote QHSE awareness across the organization through effective communication and employee engagement.
- Establish, monitor, and report on QHSE KPIs and provide regular performance updates to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of QHSE experience, preferably in transport, logistics, heavy equipment, construction, or industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- NEBOSH IGC/Diploma or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, internal audits, and compliance inspections.
- Excellent leadership, communication, training, and reporting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QHSE documentation.
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
