QC Inspector (Oil & Gas Industry) Jobs in Sharjah at Sarsan Heavy Engineering LLC
Review project specifications, drawings, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures prior to fabrication.
- Monitor fabrication activities including cutting, forming, welding, assembly, blasting, painting/coating, and final inspection.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international codes and standards such as ASME, API, AWS, ISO, ASTM, NACE/AMPP, and client specifications.
- Conduct dimensional inspections and visual examinations at various stages of fabrication.
- Coordinate and witness Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as RT, UT, MT, PT, and PMI when required.
- Verify material identification, traceability, and certification (MTCs / Mill Certificates).
- Ensure calibration status of measuring and testing equipment.
- Review and approve welding procedures (WPS/PQR), welder qualifications, and consumables control.
- Inspect surface preparation and coating applications as per approved procedures.
- Identify, raise, and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions.
- Liaise with production, engineering, planning, and client/third-party inspectors.
- Prepare inspection reports, dossiers, and Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs).
- Participate in internal audits, client audits, and quality meetings.
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
- Ensure adherence to HSE requirements during inspections and site activities.
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
