Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QC Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical quality control within construction or infrastructure projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical systems, inspection procedures, testing requirements, and international standards. Experience in reviewing installations, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with project specifications is required, along with strong communication and coordination skills.
Job Description:
–Review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, material submittals, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), RFIs, technical queries, inspection requests, and as-built drawings submitted by the contractor.
-Conduct site inspections and quality-control checks to verify compliance with approved drawings, electrical design specifications, project requirements, applicable standards, and regulations.
-Monitor electrical installation works, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, control systems, and related electrical infrastructure.
-Witness testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities and review the associated test reports.
-Identify non-conforming works and follow up on NCRs, site observations, corrective actions, and punch-list items.
-Assist in the review, coordination, and inspection of MEP activities, including HVAC, firefighting, drainage, plumbing, and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, to identify clashes and ensure compliance with project requirements.
-Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and coordination activities, and provide technical comments, reports, and recommendations to the Project Manager.
Minimum Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering and MEP projects, preferably in industrial, oil & gas infrastructure, SAIS/HCIS or building projects.
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration (Mandatory) with a valid membership.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC), Saudi Electricity Code (SEC), IEC, NFPA, HCIS Security Directives, and applicable international engineering standards.

The position is based in Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
