Qatar Executive – Licensed Aircraft Engineer Level II Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Qatar Airways
You will provide full support to the Lead Engineers and Management to perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks as per approved maintenance documentation, ensuring aircraft availability and high standards. Work in accordance with Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) regulations and company procedures to maintain flight safety. Your core responsibility is to ensure the timely and quality performance of maintenance activities on your assigned aircraft.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to support Qatar Executive’s fleet.
Manage, motivate, and encourage the team; determine materials, tooling, and support needed for maintenance tasks.
Manage inspections, prioritize defect rectification, identify skill requirements, and coordinate pool personnel.
Proactively find solutions for defects, adhering to safety, regulatory, and company standards.
Alert of potential issues affecting aircraft, especially cabin system serviceability.
Ensure final work release, meeting QE standards for aircraft availability, system reliability, and acceptable deferred defects.
Review work procedures, equipment, and standards; propose and implement improvements.
Assist other QE departments in developing maintenance work packages.
Provide specialist support to QE Maintenance, CAMO, and Engineering as needed.
Travel at short notice to perform troubleshooting and defect rectification efficiently.
Guide and train technicians and mechanics on the job.
Collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and suppliers to resolve defects and operational issues.
Ensure timely delivery of aircraft with the required standards of reliability and appearance.
Perform additional tasks as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.

About You:
Degree or equivalent/Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Vocational Qualification
Valid Qatar Executive main fleet license (ICAO type II / EASA Part 66 B1 / QCAA) and approvals
Minimum 5 years of aircraft certifying experience
Current certifying authorization with EASA or TCCA Part 145 organization
Experience with recognized corporate jet aircraft types, preferably including Qatar Executive aircraft
Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals
Ability to make rational decisions under pressure
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to interpret technical manuals and documents
Excellent communication skills in English
