Quality Control

Oversight:

Lead andmanage all aspects of

quality assurance

(QA) and

quality control

(QC) processes across projects or the entireorganization.

Ensure that all processes arealigned with both internal qualitystandards and external regulatoryrequirements (e.g., ISO standards, industrycertifications).Develop and implement

QAQC strategies, guidelines, andprotocols to maintain high product/servicequality.

Managementof QAQC Teams:

Lead andmentor a team of QAQC engineers,inspectors, and quality professionals, ensuring they are equippedwith the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their dutieseffectively.

Provide direction, training, andprofessional development opportunities to teammembers.

Ensure proper delegation of tasks andresponsibilities to optimize team performance andefficiency.

Process Improvement

:

Identifyareas for improvement within existing processes, services, orproducts to enhance overall quality.

Implementcontinuous improvement initiativesusing tools like Six Sigma,Lean, or Kaizen to reduce defects and improveefficiency.

Promote a culture of qualitythroughout the organization by collaborating with other departments(e.g., operations, engineering, procurement) to integrate qualityinto all stages of production or servicedelivery.

Quality Audits and Compliance:

Plan,organize, and lead internal audits toassess compliance with quality standards andprocedures.

Work closely with external auditorsor regulatory bodies during inspections or audits to ensurecompliance with industry regulations.

Addressand resolve any audit findings or non-conformance issuespromptly.

Ensure that all quality-relateddocumentation is accurate, complete, and readily available forinternal or externalreview.

Vendorand Supplier Quality Management:

Collaboratewith suppliers and vendors to ensure that materials, components, orservices meet established qualitystandards.

Conduct supplier evaluations andaudits to ensure compliance with qualityrequirements.

Develop strong relationships withkey suppliers to encourage quality improvements and resolve issuesrelated to product or servicedefects.

Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

Identifypotential quality risks and develop strategies to mitigate theserisks.

Use root causeanalysis techniques to investigate quality issuesand implement corrective actions.

Leadcross-functional teams in resolving complex quality-relatedproblems that may impact project timelines, costs, or productdelivery.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

Establishand track quality performance metrics, such as defect rates,

customer satisfaction

, and cost of quality, to measure theeffectiveness of QAQC processes.

Prepare andpresent regular reports to

senior management

on qualityperformance, issues, and improvements.

Analyzetrends in quality data and recommend actions to improveoutcomes.

Customer Interaction

and Feedback Management:

Engage withcustomers to understand their quality expectations and ensure theirrequirements are met.

Handle customercomplaints or feedback related to quality issues and ensure theyare resolved promptly.
