1. Management and Control of the QA/QC department staff.
2. Allocation and Assignment of QA/QC staff to projects.
3. Liaison between Company and clients on all issues relating to QA/QC.
4. Manage the Department Business and Control the Cost.
5. Manage the Project from Tendering Stage till the Testing and Commissioning.
6. Follow-Up with the Customer for the payment conditions.
7. Reduce the Project Cost by adding more competition for the Company Sub Contractors.
8. Develop the Staff Skills and ensure their capabilities to perform their jobs safely.
9. Develop the procedures and the work instructions for the Division Power and Automation.
10. Lead and manage the daily activities in his allocated areas and overall planning activities of Power and Automation.
11.Ensure efficient job planning, spares planning, budgeting, processing invoices, procurement and Project and Engineering functions to improve systems reliability and Services availability also ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment and facilities.
12. Improve Services reliability and availability.
13.Adhere to Company Safety and Quality Policies, Rules and Regulations, as well Clients specific policies.
14.Compliance to clients’ safety rules and regulations.
15.To assist in QA / QC Manager’s functions during his absence.
16.Evaluate the clients’ scope of work, plan & assign resources to execute the project requirements.
17.Attend clients’ meeting and update on Quality Control activities.
18.Ensure that client Quality Standards are adhered too.
19.Review of all Quality Control documentation prepared for client acceptance.
20.Attend construction, progress & quality meetings.
21.Preparation of Quality Control training materials.
22.Update & knowledge of relevant inspection codes e.g. ASME, API, etc.
23.Data review & co-relation of information.
24.Advice project personnel on Quality Control related activities.
25.Resolve in conjunction with the Site Project Manager on all activities relating on Quality Control on site.
26.Review tenders and contracts for quality, welding &NDE requirements.
27. Identify Nonconformance and non-adherence to company standards.
28.Coordinate with 3rd Party Inspection authorities for site activities.
29. Liaise with client inspection personnel and resolve any areas of conflict.
30.Manage & control all QA / QC Engineers and Inspectors who report directly to him.
31.Ensure that the clients are completely satisfied with QA / QC activities.
32.Provide guidance to QA / QC Engineers as well as site project management with regard to welding, material selection & NDE activities.
33.Carry out any reasonable task as assigned to by immediate line management
