QA/QC Engineer – Landscaping ProjectsAbout the Role
- Ensure quality standards across landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, softscape, pools, water features, and civil works
- Make sure all works follow approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Support consistent quality delivery across all project stages
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections to check ongoing works and workmanship quality
- Identify quality issues early and ensure proper corrective actions are taken
- Verify materials, installations, and execution meet approved standards
- Coordinate inspections for landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, softscape, pools, and water features
- Ensure all inspection requests, approvals, and testing are completed properly
- Monitor site testing, commissioning, and performance checks
- Maintain QA/QC documentation including NCRs, CARs, checklists, inspection reports, and audit records
- Ensure proper document control and support project close-out documentation
Coordination & Site Support
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors
- Ensure all teams understand and follow quality requirements
- Attend site meetings with clients and consultants
- Support resolution of technical and quality-related issues
- Coordinate with procurement for approved materials and suppliers
Audits & Improvement
- Conduct internal quality audits and site inspections
- Suggest improvements to processes and site practices
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct QA/QC awareness sessions for site teams when needed
- Promote a strong quality culture on site
Client & Consultant Coordination
- Liaise with clients, consultants, testing agencies, and authorities
- Attend inspections, audits, and quality meetings
- Ensure timely closure of quality issues and NCRs
- Support approvals and project handover processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Landscape Architecture or related field
- 5–10 years QA/QC experience in construction or landscaping projects
- Strong knowledge of landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, softscape, pools, and civil works
- Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspections, and documentation
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred
- ISO 9001 certification (Internal/Lead Auditor)
- UAE construction experience and knowledge of authority standards
- Experience in large-scale landscaping projects
- UAE Driving License preferred
