QA/QC Inspector Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Perma-Pipe
The QA/QC Inspector must follow the direction of his / her immediate Supervisor and operate in accordance with the Company Policy.
Immediate Joiner Preferred
- Carry out all quality control tasks and functions efficiently and competently within the resources assigned.
- Inspection of raw materials & Welding Consumables
- Inspecting during coating, fabrication, insulation and jacketing production and notifying for any anomalies noticed
- Inspecting finished goods
- Assist during WPS / WPQ qualification tests and inspect during fit-up and final welding and report accordingly.
- Maintains the property and assets of the department, including capital equipment, laboratory facilities, testing assets, IT equipment, and NDE equipment
- Assist in preparing the test coupons for lab testing and shall assist in the lab testing activities supervised by the QHSE engineer and shall ensure that the same are conducted with integrity.
- Conduct physical inspection, testing and update the results in the work orders in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) & international standards.
- Identify the work related hazards and report accordingly to his immediate supervisor.
- Ensure that the HSEQ observations cards are filled on monthly basis and give feedback to the immediate supervisor.
- Involve in HSE trainings and participate in the HSE drills, HSE walk around.
- Update online inspection/HSE observations through ERP system and/or department report formats
- Ability to communicate and understand English, ERP, MS Office knowledge
In addition to the above, the Employee is expected to complete any other tasks as assigned by his/her Manager

Education:

Experience:
- QA/QC Inspector: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- ASNT Level II (Preferred)
- BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspector Grade 2 or NACE Level II (Preferred)
- CWISP 3.1 (Preferred)
