Job Summary
The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting and monitoring site activities to ensure all landscape and infrastructure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. The role supports the implementation of the project’s Quality Management System through inspections, documentation, and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections to verify that work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), inspection reports, QA/QC logs, and related documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements.
- Inspect materials delivered to site and ensure compliance with approved submittals and project specifications.
- Monitor contractors’ and subcontractors’ work, identify non-conformances, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform routine quality inspections, audits, and surveillance to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams for inspections and approvals.
- Monitor the progress and status of inspections and maintain all QA/QC records and close-out documentation.
- Ensure all site activities comply with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Support project teams in maintaining quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector in landscaping, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, WIRs, and MIRs.
- Familiarity with construction quality standards, project specifications, and inspection procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office and documentation management.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
