Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer – MEP with a minimum of 4 years of experience in villa construction projects to join our engineering consultancy team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP works are executed in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and inspect MEP installation works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, ELV, and electrical systems.
- Ensure all MEP activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, local authority requirements, and quality standards.
- Review and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare inspection reports, quality records, NCRs, and corrective action reports.
- Verify material approvals and ensure installation of approved materials only.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor compliance with project quality management systems and client requirements.
- Participate in internal audits and quality reviews.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of quality records throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 4+ years of QA/QC experience in MEP works for villa construction projects.
- Experience working with engineering consultancies in the UAE is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, inspection procedures, testing, and commissioning requirements.
- Familiarity with UAE regulations, DEWA requirements, and relevant international standards.
- Proficiency in preparing quality documentation and reports.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 1–10 days will be preferred.
