Position: QA / QC Engineer- Mechanical
QA / QC Engineer – Mechanical (Firefighting Specialization)
Duration: 2 months, extendable
We are seeking a skilled QA / QC Engineer – Mechanical with expertise in firefighting systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at our client’s construction site. The role involves overseeing fire safety measures, inspecting equipment, and providing training.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise construction works related to fire safety on-site.
Ensure workers comply with safety gear requirements.
Inspect firefighting and emergency response equipment (extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, suppression systems like NOVEC, FM-200, Inergen).
Participate in firefighting emergencies and emergency drills.
Conduct hot work site inspections and standby duties.
Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
Provide basic firefighting training to staff.
Maintain and inspect all firefighting equipment.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Several years of experience in QA / QC with a focus on firefighting systems.
Knowledge of fire suppression systems (NOVEC, FM-200, Inergen) and safety regulations.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Certification in fire safety or a related field is a plus.
