Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for fit-out projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all materials and workmanship comply with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and client requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, coordinating with project teams, maintaining quality documentation, and supporting successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the project’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Prepare and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and quality requirements before construction activities begin.
- Conduct inspections for fit-out works, including gypsum partitions, suspended ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, glass, doors, and finishing works.
- Coordinate quality inspections with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
- Verify that materials delivered to site meet approved specifications and quality standards.
- Raise and close Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
- Identify non-conforming work, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and applicable building codes.
- Monitor workmanship and recommend improvements to maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and documentation.
- Participate in internal quality audits and project quality meetings.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, and MEP teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support project handover by preparing quality dossiers, punch lists, and close-out documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in interior fit-out, commercial, hospitality, or residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out construction methods and finishing works.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with inspection procedures, ITPs, NCRs, MIRs, and quality documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of QA/QC software is an advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 – ﷼5,500.00 per month
