Hiring QA QC Engineer / Document Controller for one-year extendable contract, Qatar
Job Summary
Support the successful execution of Service projects by ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and quality standards. Coordinate with TSD team, maintain accurate project records and documentation, and contribute to the timely completion and successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Engineer in preparation of engineering documents and submission.
- Support Project Engineer in order processing and order tracking.
- Manage, control, and maintain all project documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Receive, register, distribute, and archive engineering and project documents.
- Maintain document control logs, revision histories, and document transmittals.
- Ensure all drawings, technical documents, procedures, manuals, and reports are up to date.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, procurement, and project teams for document submission and approval.
- Track client comments, revisions, and document status.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy records in an organized manner.
- Prepare final documentation packages for project handover.
- Ensure compliance with project document control requirements and ISO standards.
Technical Skills/ Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of document control experience, preferably in Instrumentation & Control or
Industrial Automation projects.
- Familiarity with engineering documents such as P&IDs, instrument data sheets, loop drawings, cable schedules, panel drawings, FAT/SAT reports, and O&M manuals.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be added advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
