Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer – Civil with a minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial projects to join our engineering consultancy team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil and structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures for civil and structural works.
- Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
- Verify material approvals, inspection requests, and testing activities.
- Monitor concrete works, structural steel works, foundations, underground utilities, and infrastructure-related activities.
- Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective action reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, laboratories, and project stakeholders on quality-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with project quality management systems and ISO standards.
- Participate in internal audits, site quality reviews, and client inspections.
- Monitor closure of non-conformities and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Support project teams in achieving quality objectives and successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 6+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial construction projects.
- Previous experience with engineering consultancy projects in the UAE is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of concrete works, structural steel, foundations, infrastructure works, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with international standards, inspection procedures, and testing requirements.
- Experience in preparing quality documentation, reports, and inspection records.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 1–10 days will be preferred.
